Emergency Vehicle Service

Vogelpohl Fire Equipment has 8500 sq ft of shop service area located at our office in Erlanger. We are also equipped with mobile service trucks and EVT trained technicians to provide your department with convenient and quality service of your apparatus. We offer many types service plans to meet the varying needs of each department and each piece of equipment. With our mobile service trucks we are also ready to respond to any vehicle out of service needs.

As an E-One dealer, we are an authorized service and warranty center for E-One. However, we do provide service on all makes and models of equipment.

Vehicle Inspection Plan

Our vehicle inspection goes well beyond the inspection procedures of a normal DOT inspection. It follows the NFPA 1911 vehicle inspection recommendations. In addition to the DOT items, we also inspect such items as emergency warning lights, generators and all things powered by the generator, chassis inspection, all hinges and cab and compartment doors, all gauges, and pump inspection. After performing the inspection you will receive a form indicating all things discovered marked as a pass/fail and if any repairs are necessary. If repairs are needed, you are free to utilize our services for the repairs or perform them yourselves.

Vehicle Service Plan

Our vehicle service includes changing the engine oil and filter, coolant filter, fuel filter, if applicable we change the power steering filter, compressor filter, and external transmission filter all as standard. In addition we can completely service the automatic transmission with fluid and internal filter, hydraulic generator systems, wheel off brake inspections, change rear end fluids, air filters, and aerial device service. All of these can be performed at your fire station for your convenience.

Annual Pump Testing

Equipped with our pump test trailer, we can perform your annual pump testing right at your station if room allows. An annual pump test certificate is provided upon completion of the test.

If parts are your only needs, we can help with that as well. Our affiliation with E-One allows us to have access to all types of parts with next day deliveries if they are not already on our shelves. Please allow us to provide you with quotes on any of your parts needs.
